Meet Laura Johnson, Owner

Laura’s Boutique first opened its doors in April 2012. It had always been a dream of the owner, Laura H. Johnson, to have her own boutique. It was in her blood. Her maternal grandmother was a buyer for the children’s department at Dalton’s in Forest City, NC, and her paternal grandmother was an avid shopper. Laura has many fond memories of shopping with her own mother. She has always had a love and passion for fashion. She attended Winthrop College and started her major in Fashion Merchandising. However, soon after she learned that she would have to take Chemistry, she switched her major to Business Management. ​ Laura moved to Spartanburg after graduating and worked for Pulliam Investment Co., Inc. for more than 22 years. She absolutely loved her career in property management but realized it was time to follow her dream. ​ Maisey, Laura’s Havanese, came aboard in March of 2013. She carries the title of Official Greeter. ​Laura’s carries many designer lines of women’s clothing and Patagonia for both men and women. You’ll also find an incredible collection of accessories including jewelry, scarves, and purses.
